Welcome to Internet Review dot Me.  This is my first post here. And I would like to welcome you to see what I am going to do in this Internet Review website.  I hope you will enjoy it and continue to come back for more via RSS or revisits.

First of all, I would like to thank Weborithm for helping me to produce this fantastic web design since November 2008.  If not for his professionalism, I would not be able to have this website up and running so quickly.

What is this blog about?

This blog is going to review on the various topics around the Internet, such as Internet marketing, Internet browsers, Internet products, Internet Tutorials, website reviews, web hosting, website design and website content management.  All these topics have a very close relationship with me as I have been both technical and marketing person before in different parts of my life.

Who is behind the Internet Review dot Me?

My name is Charles Lau, and I am the Internet Reviewer behind the scene.

Back in 1998, I have been studying IT and focus on network computing and software engineering for three years.  Since 2003, I have working on sales and marketing in a variety of industries.

Today in 2008, I have been working as an Internet reviewer on my own Charles Lau dot Com blog during the night time, and working as an Internet marketing executive in the daytime.  It has been really fun since I have been working towards my goals to become an Internet Reviewer.

How did I become an Internet Reviewer

It all happened when I resigned my directorship in my own business in 31 May 2007.  That was also the time when I realized that the Internet is the new way and is the right way to do a business after attending seminars and trying to start websites.

I asked myself where my strength is.  I think I have a foundation of the Internet when I had been working on various web programming projects since 1998 till 2001.  Since 2003, I have been working on sales and marketing for other companies and also in my own startups.  (Between 2001 and 2003, I was serving national service.)

Hence in June 2007, I decided to portray myself as an expert to review other people’s websites in my own personal blog ‘Charles Lau dot Com”.  It was only a testing platform for me to plan for this big project (this website which you are looking at right now!).  Never did I realize that I got to know more and more prominent people online, and to socialize with them through the Internet.

After testing for so long (from June 2007 to November 2008), I have decided to get this website up and running finally.
